Do I need to bring my iPhone anywhere?+
No. ScreenFixPDX is a mobile service. We come to your home or workplace in Portland by appointment.
How long does a repair take?+
A screen or battery replacement typically takes around 45 minutes once the technician arrives. The exact time depends on the model and phone condition.
Do you repair Android or other phone parts?+
No Android. We only replace iPhone screens and batteries. We do not repair cameras, charging ports, back glass, motherboards or other parts.
Can I book a same-day repair?+
Please book 2–3 days in advance. Same-day repairs are subject to technician and part availability; they are not guaranteed. All appointments require advance payment.
Do I need to pay in advance?+
Yes. Full payment is required in advance to secure your appointment. Pay through Square when booking. Ordered parts take 2–3 days to arrive after full payment is received.
Will I lose my data?+
Screen and battery replacements normally do not require erasing your phone. Back up your iPhone before any repair; other damage can affect your data.
Which iPhones get battery replacements?+
Battery replacements are available for iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max; all iPhone 12 and 13 models including mini; and all iPhone 14 and 15 models including Plus, Pro and Pro Max. No battery service for iPhone 16, 17 or Air.
What kind of screens do you use?+
We use Soft OLED screens for the models marked Soft OLED, LCD Incell for iPhone 11, and refurbished OLED for iPhone 12 mini. The selector shows the display type for your exact model. We do not advertise aftermarket screens as genuine Apple displays. Part availability is confirmed before service.
Are you affiliated with Apple?+
No. ScreenFixPDX is an independent repair service and is not affiliated with Apple. Display part type and possible iPhone part notifications can be explained before the repair.
